Community Guidelines

Effective date:
These Community Guidelines (these "Guidelines") explain what is and isn't allowed on Hazymoon, and how we keep the platform safe. They supplement the Hazymoon Terms of Service (the "Terms", available at https://hazymoon.chat/privacy); capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms. Where these Guidelines and the Terms differ on a community-safety matter, these Guidelines describe our practice, and the Terms remain the binding agreement.
1. Our Community
Hazymoon is a platform for AI-driven interactive storytelling and companion experiences. Our community is built on a few simple commitments: treat the platform honestly, respect real people, protect minors, and look after your own wellbeing. These Guidelines apply to everything you do on Hazymoon — your chats, the Characters you create, images you generate, and any reports you make.
2. An Adults-Only Space
2.1 Hazymoon is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old (or the higher age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the platform.
2.2 Do not misrepresent your age, and do not help anyone under 18 access the platform. Circumventing age verification or geographic restrictions (including through VPNs or proxies) is not allowed and may result in account termination.
3. You Are Interacting with AI
3.1 Every Character on Hazymoon is operated by an AI system. No Character is a real person, and no messages you receive are sent by a human.
3.2 AI-generated content (chat responses and images) is labelled or marked as AI-generated. Do not remove or tamper with these markings, and do not present AI output as human-created or as depicting real events or real persons.
3.3 Hazymoon is for entertainment. Characters may simulate emotional attachment, but these are fictional dynamics — output is not medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, and is not a substitute for professional care. If you are going through a hard time, please reach out to qualified professionals or people you trust.
4. Prohibited Content
You may not create, upload, generate, request, or share content that:
- (a) involves minors — anything that depicts, sexualizes, or otherwise relates to persons under 18, including realistic depictions of minors in sexual or suggestive contexts. This is a zero-tolerance red line; violations are removed and may be reported to competent authorities;
- (b) is pornographic or sexually explicit — pornography, nudity, sexual acts, or other sexually explicit material, whether presented as text, images or role-play scenarios; attempts to generate, request or elicit such content through indirect phrasing, euphemisms or iterative prompting are also prohibited;
- (c) depicts real people without consent — sexual, intimate, degrading or defamatory portrayals of identifiable real persons, including non-consensual intimate imagery and "deepfake" content;
- (d) promotes harm — content that promotes or facilitates unlawful activity, violence, terrorism, self-harm or suicide, or that encourages real-world harm to any person;
- (e) spreads hate — content that is hateful or incites discrimination against protected groups;
- (f) infringes rights — content that infringes any third party's intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights; or
- (g) exposes personal data — sensitive personal information of third parties (health, biometric, financial or identification data) shared without their consent.
5. Prohibited Conduct
Do not, and do not help others to:
- (a) impersonate any real person (living or deceased), or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity — including creating Characters that imitate or impersonate identifiable real individuals;
- (b) harass, abuse, threaten or defame other users or Hazymoon personnel;
- (c) use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access or collect content from the platform without our written consent;
- (d) attempt to bypass, disable or interfere with our safety systems, content moderation, rate limits or other technical measures (including attempts to jailbreak Characters out of their safety settings);
- (e) commit fraud — including fraudulent purchases, chargeback abuse, referral-code abuse, or manipulation of any reward or promotional mechanism;
- (f) use the platform to develop or train competing AI products, or to extract model parameters; or
- (g) violate any applicable law in connection with your use of the platform.
6. Character Creation Rules
6.1 Characters you create must be original or properly licensed. You are responsible for the backstory, persona settings, greeting scripts and cover assets you provide.
6.2 Do not build Characters based on real, identifiable people (celebrities, public figures or private individuals) without their verifiable consent.
6.3 Content on Hazymoon is intended for adults but is limited to non-explicit material: explicit adult content is blocked. This applies to Characters, chats and generated images alike.
6.4 Character creation content is screened before it is saved. Content that crosses a red line in Section 4 will be refused even if it is intended for private use.
7. Safety and Wellbeing
7.1 Crisis support. If you express thoughts of suicide or self-harm in a conversation, Hazymoon will surface crisis-support information and direct you to appropriate help resources (such as emergency services or suicide-prevention hotlines relevant to your region). Hazymoon is not an emergency service — in an emergency, contact your local emergency number.
7.2 Healthy habits. We provide wellbeing settings, including default quiet hours that silence push notifications and configurable notification controls. We encourage you to use them, and to take breaks when the platform stops feeling like entertainment.
8. Moderation and Enforcement
8.1 How we moderate. We apply automated content moderation across the platform: character creation content is screened before it is saved, and chat inputs and outputs are screened in real time. Reported content is sent into the same moderation pipeline.
8.2 Consequences. Depending on severity, violations may result in: content removal or refusal; Character takedown; a warning; temporary suspension; permanent ban; forfeiture of Virtual Currency; and, for content involving minors or other serious illegality, reporting to competent authorities.
8.3 Transparency and appeal. Where we restrict or remove your content or restrict your account, we will provide a statement of reasons (except where prohibited by law or necessary for safety or legal-compliance reasons) and an opportunity to appeal through the in-app appeal process or by contacting Hazymoon.official@outlook.com.
8.4 Changing standards. We may update these Guidelines as the platform and applicable laws evolve. Material changes will be announced with reasonable notice; we will not change enforcement standards abruptly or without communication.
9. Reporting
9.1 You can report content in-app at the message level and the Character level, and you can block Characters. Reports may also be sent through the Unified Contact set out in the Contact section at the end of the Terms.
9.2 Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII). If you are depicted in intimate imagery — including AI-generated "deepfake" intimate imagery — shared without your consent, use the expedited notice process via the Unified Contact set out in the Contact section at the end of the Terms. Valid notices are actioned promptly and within the timeframes required by applicable law (48 hours under the U.S. TAKE IT DOWN Act).
9.3 Copyright. Copyright complaints are handled under the DMCA procedure described in Section 7.5 of the Terms, via the Unified Contact set out in the Contact section at the end of the Terms.
9.4 We review reports and take appropriate action. False or abusive reports made in bad faith may themselves be treated as violations of these Guidelines.
